Start-Up Coaching

Any start-ups looking for a coach? If you, or someone you know is working at an early stage start-up, I’d love to chat. To give back to the tech community I’m offering free coaching for early stage start-ups, with an extra focus on those in the local Kitchener-Waterloo and GTA tech corridor. The early days can be  messy and I've seen first hand just how challenging it can be when you’re trying to build a team, build a product, and land customers all at the same time.

I can help you:

  • Uncover problems for your target market

  • Validate if your solution will solve those problems

  • Build a simple prototype to demonstrate the solution

  • Structure a go to market plan for how to reach prospects

  • Sell to your first customers to get early feedback from real users

If any of the above points seem like they're things your start-up is missing or could be beneficial to you, then let's talk!

I’ll offer up to five hours of  my time per start-up to help brainstorm ideas, provide a sounding board and discuss strategic approaches to challenges. We can meet remotely, at a coffee shop, or at a local pub, I’m flexible.

You’re probably thinking to yourself, who is this guy?! Hi, I’m Adam. My experience includes technology sales for Future Shop, Apple, and Freedom Mobile, as well as founding companies in the e-commerce and entertainment spaces.

For the last five years I’ve been working at a scale-up B2B SaaS company in Marketing, Product Management and now as Head of Product & Development. I’ve helped to ideate a new integrated payment processing solution to complement existing business, lead the adoption of additional cross sell products, and validate/invalidate existing solutions into new target markets. I’ve been deep in the day-to-day and made many mistakes along the way, and I’ll do my best to help you move quickly and avoid them if I can.

In full disclosure, I’m not a professional coach, I haven’t done a lot of formal coaching before, but I love talking startups and would love to help you. Best of all it’s free!

If you or someone you know would like to chat, please reach out, otherwise share, comment, or tag them in this post. All the details at www.adamkropf.com/coach Stay safe!
